Marketing your Home
Your real estate agent will use a variety of tools to market your home. An experienced agent is well versed in positioning a home in the market to attract the most leads very quickly. Among the marketing strategies they will use are:
- Pricing your home right – Not enough can be said about making sure your home is offered at the right price. Without a well thought out price tag on your home no other marketing tools will succeed.
- Web marketing – Your Realtor will submit your home to the MLS and make the listing available to view on their company website as well as many other real estate websites throughout the area. It will also appear on PropertyPursuit.com, a national listing portal.
- Print marketing – If your Realtor feels it is right for your home they may include it in local homes magazines and newspapers.
- Open Houses – Not every home is suitable for an open house, but if it's in a high traffic neighborhood an open house can be a great way to attract potential buyers.
